I found one of my neighbors on that list, and he's still married.

His attitude of ‘send me 2 teens, I’ll pick which one to f*ck’ was sooo creepy.

It also seemed like the hacker(s) were targeting him specifically. Maybe someone who knew/disapproved what he was up to, and also hated Jews (per the fat glasses guy).

Yeah, it was pretty disgusting but I wasn’t surprised at all based on what we’d already seen of him. Bet his wife knew.

A couple things:

1) people calling out the name-searching of customers as a "witch hunt because we're all sinners" - F that. We all have choices. Many of us don't make choices that hurt and betray people we (allegedly) love.

2) the Christian social media guy calling the site's existence as "evil." Dude, no one made you sign up and cheat on your wife. Own up to your own choices. Ashley Madison still exists because of willing customers, not because the creators are evil. I don't blame the site for existing - no one's forced to sign up. There is no such thing as "satan" - take accountability for your own hurtful choices.

3) I have no ill judgement for couples that have open marriages/relationships, or for people that get divorced. I will always have ill thoughts over people who cheat. It isn't the physical act - it's the deception, betrayal, and outright disregard for the person they say they care about.

I found that part of the documentary so sad. The widow of the guy who committed suicide after having to leave the seminary because he was on the list was the one saying that. What kind of seminary teaches that God can forgive your sins, but not us! When that man needed spiritual guidance and his religious community the most, they were relieved at his resignation. Had they offered him a chance at redemption, he might still be alive. Instead of being angry at the seminary, his widow is blaming people who were curious, but didn’t come after her husband.

That guy had some serious issues. I mean, surprising your wife with news of her own pregnancy—while filming the entire thing of course—and then immediately blasting it out on social media for validation is very very strange.

I knew two people on the list. I had checked FfxUnderground, starting with my own zip code just to confirm my spouse wasn’t on it - didn’t really think he would be, but you never know. One person was a mutual friend of ours, so I had my husband reach out. He told him “I just wanted to let you know that this is out there, and it’s making the rounds. I’m not asking or judging. Your wife or people she knows could also see this, so do with that what you need to.” The other one was a husband of an acquaintance who is one of the nicest people I know. I never told her because I don’t blow up other people’s marriages. Maybe he’s a creep, maybe she has gone off s*x and turns a blind eye, maybe he just wants to talk dirty to someone. I always figure that they have the same access to the tools that I do, so they can choose to look or not.

My dad checked out all his son-in-laws and my brother and called to let me know they were in the clear. Lol. Unfortunately, my loser wasn’t caught because didn’t use a real credit card or email. Little did I know. I did see several people I knew on it- and one woman neighbor which was the biggest shock.

BuzzFeed came out with an article with a doctor they interviewed who said there’s no way toilet water would give a clear sample. And his wife does not flush the toilet? And that is such such a habit that he knows that she doesn’t flush the toilet so plotted this whole thing? So confused if she texted him that she was two weeks late why wouldn’t she taking a pregnancy test? The whole thing was so staged and stupid.

I believe people can come together and have stronger marriages after infidelity, alcohol addiction, whatever. People are flawed, and if they agree to work on their crap, I think you can become a better partner. His issues were so disgusting though, I don’t think he is over them. Strip clubs, massage parlors… Basically he was paying for sex. I’m sorry but that is so gross to women and I don’t believe for a minute he respects women or his wife or is beyond any of his issues. I imagine he is still into some weird crap and his wife is just clueless.

The Christian dude has the shiftiest eyes, and I feel like he’s still hiding something. He’s also much skinnier in the face than when this went down, which is odd for an aging man.
