Nope. Don’t care. Not one bit.

So you support drunk driving and driving while high?

DP. You have no idea whether the driver was high. Insisting that was the case and that the people who disagree with you simply don’t care makes you sound ridiculous.

Yeah the driver was just going around with a huge bag of edibles and didn’t take any. Also they weren’t so high as to have accidentally left the huge bag on the doorstep and not of even thought to try to get them back. Please.

DP. You're the one ordering from a service you think puts raving druggies on the streets, so you could work on that.

What you’re saying doesn’t even follow. High are we?

Clearly if he left something like his wallet she would do the decent thing and let Uber know so he could retrieve it. This is a little more grey area, I guess.

It does make me wonder a little if this is some competency to deal drugs where you order and the Uber driver delivers and he mixed up your order with someone else. I am not imaging a scene in which intimidating drug lords come looking for the missing stash, a la Weeds or that new British show.

NP. The driver likely was delivering them to someone else and they ended up at OP's door, so there's a pi$$ed customer (or friend of the driver) out there, but that's not OP's problem at all. I'd wonder if the driver were driving around while buzzed himself, if he's a deliver-your-edibles kind of guy. I"m team OP, re: ditching them immediately. Wrap them up in something and put in your outside trash can. If the driver turns back up for them in person or phones? Never saw them. If he insists? Never saw them, plus, will be reporting him to Uber for being an a-hole and insisting you have something of his that you don't have.

So according to your logic, every driver who has alcohol in their car MUST be drinking it?

The guy is clearly an idiot, no question there. But perhaps he didn’t return to get them because he was embarrassed or worried about getting into trouble—and given your outrage, he was probably wise to let it go and not reclaim the stash.

He took them out of the car with him. Most people if they buy alcohol it stays in the trunk out of reach. If you have another errand it’s not coming out of your car. Why do that if you’re not taking any? Furthermore it was in a gallon ziploc bag and there was a lot of it. It truly looked like a child’s treat bag after Halloween except it was edibles. It’s not like he just bought one and it fell out of his pocket.

How did you know they were edibles from looking at them?

Are you too high to drive and get your own food, or just too lazy?

Well based on that direct, irrefutable evidence, you must be correct that he was high!

You should probably stop ordering food delivery. Your food was very close to them And handled by the same person with this in his car…. All the way from the restaurant to your house. Now you know, but do you want to guess how many past orders and possible future orders are at risk?

How about I’m busy working and my time is more valuable doing something other than shopping. Sorry you can’t relate.

Just throw away or put up high in a cabinet and see if the driver comes back.

You’re the worst person ever to receive a giant bag of edibles for free. Wish it was our house!! Life is not fair!

If there was ever a person who could use an edible, it's OP. She needs to dial it waaaaaay back.
