We travelled to the path of totality. I’m agnostic, but the experience was awe inspiring and did make me think about my place in the world. And I’ll say this— if total eclipses are a sign from God, it’s not a sign of his wrath, it a gift the brings us closer together. They don’t cause fear. They invoke feelings of love, awe and wonder and make our bickering seem so insignificant. They make her prattling on seem insignificant.
It sounds corny but it made me realize it was time to tune out the MTGs of the world and focus less on anger and more on helping m fellow humans (not just Americans). I think she missed the point of the eclipse. By a lot. |

They were supposed to get raptured six years ago, which would’ve solved a lot of problems.
