Lesser known good rom-coms?

The American president is an oldie but goodie...if you like West Wing you can see how Sorkin used similar ideas in both.

How do you know was terrible but it's fun that it's set in DC. I also like crossing Delancey (set in new York) and Date night (more of a funny action movie but not very violent).

Yeah, not a "com" but so so SO good. The leads were so charismatic and their chemistry was amazing (I think they were dating at the time).

Shining Through though not tech a romcom

The other woman with Cameron Diaz

Anyone but you

Last yr there was one I just watched and loved - it's with the actor who played one of the pilots in Top Gun 2. Sorry I forget the title. Loved it a lot!!!

The lost husband - the dumbest title but great movie

Katherine Hegel romcoms are good, esp one where she's a single mom who helps a musician. I forget the title it's totally indie movie but really great.

Unfortunately for us fans of the movie, Sanaa Lathan, who played the lead Monica, came out a fee years ago saying she was miserable during filming. Though she was dating Omar Epps secretly at the time too.

Just Friends doesn't get nearly the love it deserves. Anna Feris was hilarious in it.

I have a huge soft spot for French romcoms. Some favorites:

Priceless (Hors de prix)
Heart Breaker (L'Arnecouer)
Populaire

Also, not in French but a couple that scratch a similar itch for me: French Kiss (Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline), and My Father the Hero (with Gerard Depardieu, though does not actually take place in France and is not in French, but it's funny and cute).

+1 I went through a foreign phase on Amazon Prime. I'll try to remember them. Lots were Italian.

Girl on a Bicycle is a French / German production and very funny and uplifting. It's on Freevee right now.
