Itโ€™s only December. You need to wait until May to get a true picture.

Yeah also these are early admits.
Need to keep in mind that each of these privates have different sized graduating classes. Also some have boarders which skew things because they have higher rates of admissions to top schools (connected/"hooked").

You just made this up. Maybe for Andover, Exeter or Choate Rosemary Hall. Not for Madeira.

Have to say Whitman early results are impressive, which is not surprising.

Agreed. No surprises there.

GDS just added Dartmouth (multiple), BROWN!!!!, and UVA to the already jaw dropping list.
#GDSWins

If anyone from our school acted like this poster who is all over the college board too, we would definitely be hearing from the Headmaster about humility and thinking of other students in the class.

The more this poster posts, it just reinforces every negative stereotype I had about GDS parents.

This is definitely a child trolling this board.

Likely, but you never know. Youโ€™d be shocked at how some private school parents act and perhaps, thatโ€™s why the kids are hyper achieving at this school. Trying desperately to impress their parents. I would be interested to know if Ivy League grads are truly happier in life than other graduates.

How are you even asking this question? No, they're not happier. I'm dumb struck that someone could even ask this.

No good counsel?

So was this yearโ€™s GDS class academically stronger than last year where admission results not as impressive or did the counseling office get its act together to work for better results?
