Is it true that RTO was pushed to July?

Yes. The union is claiming victory; they are downright giddy that the allegations of harassment lead to a delay in RTO.

The union didn't do squat, but is taking credit for this. Hopefully they will actually do their jobs in the negotiations and get some real results.

When will negotiations take place?

Supposedly they have been happening already. Management's position is that they can do this unilaterally though.

Any news on when Gruenberg will resign?

The end may be near. Rs in House Financial Services Committee are launching an investigation into FDIC and Gruenberg.

This all seems like a coordinated attack to delay the capital rules. With that said, the attack would not have worked if gruenberg didn’t have a bunch of allegations against him and his cronies to make for interesting news stories. Even now, gruenberg is very unpopular because of his demand that people come back to the office more. Seems like he has made enemies everywhere.

Anyone know what personal misconduct is alleged against Marty? Not at FDIC, just curious.

From what I read in news articles, he is known to have a temper. A subordinate accused him of throwing a phone during a conversation. He was investigated and not sure what if anything happened.

FDIC also has a lawyer who is now going on trial for creating and distributing child pornography.

Guess we know why so many managers want RTO. Hard to creep on employees over Teams.

NP and the two may not be related. It is possible they are engaging in mediation or management wants to wait until the matter is litigated before the FSIP before RTO. There may be a risk to imposing RTO if they are not confident they can do it unilaterally.

I know they are related. But the union’s messaging is terrible. It makes me wonder how crappy they are at actually negotiating for members.

The only conceivable explanation for management’s obsession with RTO is bc they want to be in the same room with females. Which is creepy.

This and the previous comment about creeping over Teams is over the top, but there is some merit to the claim that harassment is easier when in person. Has FDIC management addressed the correlation between in-office and harassment rates?

I have heard this from a few of my friends that work there. Management seems oddly comfortable expressing an interest in having relationships with the newer co-workers. Maybe it's not so odd though because apparently they can do this with impunity.
