Pajamas, hot cocoa mix and “The Night before Christmas” in a Christmas Eve box I love the Angel Tree tradition but I wouldn’t say it’s my kids’ favorite. |

| We’ve always done Christmas Eve as an appetizer dinner following church. The kids enjoy a tapas style meal. The adults have champagne and we serve the children sparkling cider in our Waterford crystal glasses. |

| We only stay home on Christmas Day and make homemade rolls up high and a big pot of soup for dinner. Then we snuggle up with cocoa and cookies and watch holiday movies. The kids usually sleep in each other's room for a big slumber party that night and play with their gifts. My husband and I make a big batch of popcorn and watch a movie in bed. |
