If you are not a Christian, why do you think about or discuss the Christian heaven?

most cultures have this same concept. Like the American Indians had the "happy hunting grounds." Valhalla comes to mind. I don't know why you're calling this the Christian heaven.

I just never understood the concept and wanted to get some insight from others into what it actually is. From reading this whole thread it still seems quite a murky concept, with a division of opinion even among believers.

I have a friend who died and was revived during surgery. She decribed a very vivid blue, and looking down at the doctors working on her. But as far as heaven... nothing.
