Indoor Nationals:

Anyone know who the "SWAMP" team was or the "Bulldogs" who beat Stone Ridge?

Looks like it’s going to be Visi vs BI for the top spot

I’d bet on SR again

Stone Ridge the team to beat, and Visi will be tough, but I wouldn't sleep on Potomac. SSAS will compete, but it will be another year before they contend.

BI not even top 2 in WCAC. Still behind GC and SJC.

GC won't have much competition in conference. They have most of their big guns returning.

Agreed. GC and SJC lost the least to graduation out of WCAC. GC only lost 2 starters, SJC lost 4, then PVI and BI both lost 5 to graduation. BI got some transfers but TBD how they shake out in full field play.

ISL has always been considered the preeminent DC area conference, and PVI beat ISL champion SR last year, SJC has defeated Visi the past two times they’ve played (and lost to SR by one), and GC is the #2 team in the entire DMV (ranked above all other ISL teams). WCAC was the only conference that sent a player to the #1 team in the country last year (NW) and has another one going next year. When has any of this ever happened in WCAC girls lax before?

GC has always been a strong program, and PVI and SJC have replaced BI and Holy Cross in the number two and three slots. The level of talent and competition has never been higher.

Just because one WCAC program (BI) is no longer a national contender doesn’t mean the current strength across the conference’s top three teams is any less impressive.

Not sure about that - visi had a tough time scoring on Potomac today at TSJ.

Indoor is not the same as playing on a full length field with full team
