Also in the summer, take the Circleline extended cruise around the entire island of Manhattan.

Boston has a harbour cruise, though not as exciting as Chicago or NYC boat tours.

If you have never left the East Coast, I vote for Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
