We took a cruise with a port stop in “Honduras.” For a minute I didn’t fool myself into thinking I actually visited Honduras. What we visited was a private, controlled beach that happened to be in Honduras, but there was nothing Honduran about our visit. It was a fun day- beach was nice, great snorkeling. It was my one and only cruise. I’m not a cruise person, but not snobby enough to take myself some seriously that I can’t have a fun time no matter where I land. |
Ate lobster mainly. Lots of nice resorts. Google is your friend. |
Try a grammar course. |

Glad you are realistic and not claiming to have had an “authentic experience” like the other bozos here. But you should try San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa sometime, as well as Copan and other country towns. Both wonderful cities! |

I’m changing my estimate from 22 to 12 years old. |
With you but seriously we need to let this thread die. Giving the troll what they want. |
Right. Anyone who calls you on your BS is a “troll.” Got it. |
Obviously it’s less authentic than in depth sightseeing in Haiti, but nobody can safely tour around Haiti now. ^^^ That’s the point. But you can have an authentic experience as a daytripper in safer Caribbean islands. Not everyone goes on cruise trip excursions. Many hire local guides and spend the day venturing to historical or nature sights, eating where the locals go, chartering boats to get to the best areas faster, etc. all with a knowledgeable local guide. But for whatever reason you can’t stand that some well heeled travelers can have an even better time than you had…simply because they aren’t uptight, judgmental, and in some one-man competition with everyone else. |
Poppycock! |
