Yes it is very sad given the age of the baby and that they had been together since high school. They looked adorable as teenagers and she looked out of his league so he just have a very engaging personality.

Lily works in mental health field and did a lot of advocacy work for sexual assault victims as she was attacked while studying at Amherst College. Hopefully, she had good resources for her to adjust to her new reality as a single mother.

This betrayal must be very painful and probably unexpected. It must be awful to have it played out in public.

Both Slater and Grande claim that they ended their relationships before started bf this new fling but it seems unlikely in Slater’s case given his glowing social media posts about Lily until very recently.

He cheated on his wife. They did not separate before he hooked up with Ariana. He’s just a low life.

But he misplayed his hand. The backlash will be more severe on him than Ariana. And she’s super flighty, so he bet his hand on very unstable celebrity.

The other problem is that this guy’s whole career schtick is that he’s playing off a wholesome image. He was the lead in SpongeBob and now he’s a major star of Wicked, which is slated to be a tent pole production.

He just broke the biggest rule of all: don’t piss off moms. They are the ones spending money to take their kids to these productions. Wicked is a musical for teenage girls and moms. They are going to recoil at a lead who dumps his HS sweetheart wife & newborn baby for a mentally ill Hollyweird pop star.

The PR folks for the studio must be sh#tting themselves right now.
