Oh boy. Those comps speak loud and clear. These people will be lucky to get $1.45. Comps make it look like where it was originally priced when it was first listed is the right price.

Listing removed today. Do we think they’ll relist?

Maybe they will decide to become flippers. What a mess.

Why did they pay $300k over asking in the first place. Wow, tragic.

Agent who represented them on the sale appears to brand new. That could be one reason.

What's amazing is that the other bidders from the original sale are gone. Wonder if any of them saw this house get relisted.

So much speculation about the owners, yet no one here actually knows what's going on. The "what a mess" comment is a bit dramatic. Maybe they'll just become flippers? What an odd comment.

Unfortunately, this is all too common. Let's face it, the interests of agents and buyers are not aligned. So agents convince buyers that they must buy now (a variation of "buy now or be priced out forever," "there's no more land", "prices only go up," etc.), and convince them to use escalations and waive contingencies. But of course, all of this only benefits the agents, who just collect their commissions that much quicker. And unfortunately, all of those reasons sound much like the lies that were peddled in 2005 and they were all totally false then and likely will be proven to be false yet again.

Maybe that didn't happen here, but it is really telling that all of the buyers they supposedly competed against are gone. Did those other buyers really find other houses that quickly? Or with the benefit of time, did they realize that there was no reason to be so crazy about this particular house?

Whoa!! $200K below what they paid just 4 months ago? That's going to HURT! I know it's none of our business, but I am so very curious why they're willing to take such a hit.

Looks like all other avenues failed? They tried reselling, no bites. Then tried renting. It is curious to me there are people who could afford to pay that much over asking so swiftly, but have financial pressure to sell instead of just keep it in the family (assuming it was buyers' remorse, like earlier posters speculated)

This is a $1.3M house. Pic #28 is scary, I need details of what went on there AND why the realtor decided they should include this pic :O

They are now with the agent who was the listing agent when they were the buyers. They used their same agent to try to sell, fired him and hired the agent who listed it first. Crrrrazy cakes.

$1.4 or $1.5 maybe.

There's a 0.0 percent chance this sells for $1.4 or $1.5. It'll get asking, at minimum.

I'm the one who said $1.4 or $1.5 and then this person said a zero percent chance to me. LOLOLOLOLOL. Looks like negative zero now!
