Haven't read all six pages to apologize if this has already been stated. But was she at his intervention? He did not thank her for that intervention aspect of his recovery in his special, so it made me wonder if she was implicit or a part of the problem? It was his addiction, let me be clear. But sometimes significant others or friends aren't... helpful.

Really? I thought that they were together until he came out of rehab (post intervention)? But if separated in a non-amicable way, it makes sense that she wouldn't have been asked to be a part of it.

That’s a good question. He listed the names of those people at the end of hid stand up special. I don’t remember if she was on that list. Maybe she was party if the problem?

She talks about how her divorce precipitated a mental health crisis during which she became suicidal and wound up in a mental health facility. That’s not “lots of mentions about the ex,” it’s literally just her writing about her own life.
