Omg do you work in HR or something? What a vapid response to such a vapid post. |
| Yikes Gen Z should be petitioning for an extra two years of in person high school. Not the greaest or the brightest. |
Do you have any idea how much work is out there right now? My boss is calling me day and night. Also, it has never been better time to work for yourself in this gig economy. Or you can sell something with scaling possibility. This people working for someone else is fairly new thing in history. Most people worked for themselves or within family. In case you or your friends do need a job asap, restaurants are hiring. You all can make $1000+ a week easily and get free food. Imagine two 25 year old roommates working 1.5 of those jobs and investing the difference for few years. Had you done that the last 5 years, you could be taking it easy right now. Not to mention having learned to invest. I retired 4 years into hands on investing. Surely there were mistakes made, but I learned so much from them. I have a feeling you went to school instead and now have student debt. You can work in restaurants or driving uber nights and weekends and still look for that office job in your field. |

Oh, no. Not having school from the luxury of home.
Millennials had it worse but honestly every generation had their obstacles. |
Russians are paid to troll; not paid to be good at it. |
+1 Gen X too - my uncle wrote my grandfather’s biography. Lived through the Great Depression, was in direct combat in WWII |
I write up the bios of soldiers and sailors who died in WWII. Many of them were 18 or 19. I get to see vivid descriptions of their injuries. My youngest is 25. I can't even imagine him dealing with battlefield situations. |
No they’re are not. Not even close. How embarrassing for you. So superficial and obviously void of historical knowledge. |
Is this the comedy hour? |
They can't write either. |
IKN. My mom had the Great Depression during her first decade and had to move when her family lost their farm. Then, she saw her uncle and brother go off to war in her second decade. Her future spouse was in the army during Korea. She was required to quit her job when she got pregnant. She saw many of her friend’s children sent to Viet Nam never to return home. She was lucky, she did not grow up in Europe. Seems like Gen Z has had it better than that. |
Maybe we should take the vote away from the OP and give her a dose of unpreventable polio or TB. Require her to get approval from a male relative to open a bank account. Ban her from living alone in a one bedroom apartment - who knows what she might be doing in there with men. |
Are you writing this from abroad? |
