No it's not. Nepo babies have star-level parents. Not obscure ones. A father who is a movie star can make things happen for you. A father who is, like, a lighting assistant on the set, can finagle an invitation for you but you'd have to do the rest.

You don't think Directors/Producers don't have any sway? They likely have more than a random actor.

Star level directors and producers, yes. Otherwise no.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Just because you haven't heard someone's name before doesn't mean they're not incredibly influential.
