Some local school districts have already taken the basic step of dropping the outdated “STEM” and have been inclusive by adding an A for Arts. FCPS is one of them.

Both sports and arts are very meaningful and are “value added” subjects which help diversify our children’s education.

Science shouldn't be intellectually inclusive. You're either capable or you're not. We don't need more Starliners.

It's pathetic how parents have to keep stretching the definition of everything just so that their subpar kid can also participate. It's lame ass no-parenting and makes everything they touch a hollow achievement for everyone.

You can have it. As long as you separate the kids according to intelligence so that everyone isn't in the same class and learning level. Inclusive shouldn't mean that you unable everyone so that they learn at the same speed and level as the dumbest kid. Just like how they dumbed down entire gym classes because some kids are obese or physically disabled. Or how many music and art classes are pathetic because some kids just suck at music and art because they're too lazy or adhd.
