The homes! They always have new kitchens, flawless yards, furniture that looks like no one has ever sat in it - all in houses where people are supposed to be raising children.

Married with Children was the exception that proves the rule.

Also, miscarriage. It's always a rush of blood and a trip to the hospital. Maybe the mom-no-to-be passes out or similar. Wake up in a hospital bed.

Not saying that never happens in miscarriage, but it's not what usually happens.

Here’s mine: When two characters from the same foreign country speak to each other in broken, heavily accented English rather than their mother tongue. That never EVER happens in real life. It’s baffling to me why directors always do this. I mean, directors: If you can’t find two American actors who speak fluent German, then just hire a couple of German actors and use subtitles for their scenes. It will make the movie feel more authentic and the audience will appreciate that you respect their intelligence.

A ton of people won’t watch subtitled movies. It’s just a business decision.

Drives me insane when characters don’t wear hats when in bitterly cold environments. Can’t tell you how many times I was yelling at the screen watching Game of Thrones!

When Asian families don’t take their shoes off. I had to stop watching Beauty and the Beast (2012 TV show) because the Asian main character didn’t take her shoes off when she walked into the house.

This is annoying but also kinda funny. When shows have obviously not ever visited the DC area.
—the characters say “the 95”. In Ca they say ‘the 101’ when referencing highways. Here we just say ‘95’
—Bones, they always were driving towards the Capitol. Didn’t matter where they were going, the establishing shot was them driving toward the Capitol
—NCIS, always solving cases in Norfolk. Driving down in the morning, work on case and home by evening 🙄
—NCIS, chased suspect from Braddock Mall (off Braddock Rd in Ffx County) right into an Orange Grove
— Criminal Minds, Spencer gets of the Quantico metro station
— Criminal Minds, one of the female characters is in her condo that overlooks Memorial Bridge and Lincoln Memorial. (I was unaware that Arlington Cemetery has condos 🙄)

Yes, this. I just watched Scream 6 (I know, I know), and three college students lived in an off-campus apartment that was larger and nicer than mine, and I’m a well-paid professional in my 40s!

I agree, that would be a good twist! Melissa McCarthy (Sookie) is beautiful and isn't skinny, but she was more comic relief than center of the show's plot line.

I also love GG. Just got into it recently.
