Again, OP? |
Sorry girl but yes. The times are different. Kids have connected before they ever step on the campus. It’s all sorted out on their social media before day 1 of college and it’s ruled by the social networks established way before and then added to on campus. Huge leg up |
That is very common in private. |
Every family makes that determination. Very few are switching or complaining |
Yes GDS is super socially conservative. No pronouns there. |
And welcome. |
What people? Were they Big 3 people? If so how did you meat many many people over many many years in a school other than yours? What are you a lollipop lady? |
You’re wrong. It’s very hard to prove it to you because you’ll never know what you’ve missed |
That just means that college placement should have an even greater emphasis. I would rather be connecting with people who attend a T-20 than Washington Lee or some community college school. |
| Our Big 3 just fills them community college spots. |
Delusional, and I say that with kids in both public and private. |
Well no one from my kids' school went to Washington Lee or a CC last year so I guess I'm safe there. And a healthy chunk go to T20s. |
| Regretting every minute of private and all of the hassles with teachers, coaches, and snobby kids and parents. Will be running for the door at graduation!!! |
| Oh yeah, so totally not worth it, I revered it every day as I drive my kid to UMD to start their post Big-3 career. I’m like should have listened to that guy on dcum. If I had you’d now know how to hide your drugs going through the metal detector. My bad |
