If they play the way they did in the 2nd half for all 4 quarters, they beat Saint Mary's.

Hoyas were down 9-3 at one point and then took over the game in the 3rd quarter and half of the 4th.

Looks like the Hoyas were asleep in the first half.

I was impressed with Saint Mary's last night and I fully expect them to make another run to the MIAA finals.

Great effort by Prep and should be something to build off of. St. Mary's is a good team and Prep battled when they could have folded. In the end, St. Mary's was too much, but the comeback showed a lot of character.

Bright spots for Prep
- Attack. Scored 10 of the 13 goals. 3 goals each from #33 and #0. 4 goals from #7.
- Faceoff. Must have been 60-70%
- Man-down defense

Need to work on clearing and as someone mentioned previously the defense at both close and midfield got run by repeatedly. Slides were not existent at times.

If they tighten up the defense, Prep will be in the thick of things.

STM starting FO went out early with an injury. I believe he scored the second goal on the FO win

No official score kept but according to St Paul's parents it was 11 - 5. St Paul's pulled its starters at half. Lots of problems for the Eagles even if it was a scrimmage.

Thursday night against McDonogh will be very rough.

other than SJC who is recruiting nationally and has an unlimited recruiting budget, DC area teams can't run with the MIAA this Spring

Just look at the results from yesterday.

Expect MSJ to beat the pants out of the Heights this afternoon.

Saint Marys over Prep 17-13
Severn over Landon 9-6
Loyola over SS/SA 13-5

SJC is the lone wolf to represent the DC area on the big stage.

Congrats to their program on yet another marquee W!

More like the WCAC goes 1-0 vs the MIAA. WCAC isn’t the IAC. They went 0-3.

Let’s be fair. Bullis didn’t play and those IAC teams are no different than Gonzaga, PVI, and DeMatha who would have lost those games too.

SJC recruiting nationally? Crofton and Frederick aren’t that far. No dorms at school.

they are recruiting kids from much farther away than Crofton and Frederick MD.

It's no secret... their assistant coach is offering to have the school pay for students' uber rides to and from school for the school year.

St. John’s isn’t recruiting nationally. Entire roster is from the DMV. Why do you need a kid from Texas when you can get the best in the DMV. No need. No one in the country has better lacrosse than the DMV. That’s proven every summer.

Not so sure about that. Gonzaga has done very good against top MIAA teams. Beat their top team last year.

Long Island might have a bit of a quibble with that.

SJ bought an acre of Rock Creek from the city and is building dorms for athletes.
