Group trip - who gets the master?

If it's the only king bed, then the tallest person gets the king bed.

The couple with the newborn, because they had more gear and no one else wanted to be on the same floor with the crying baby.

My in-laws, just because

The couple who wanted their young kids sleep in sleeping bags on their floor (instead of the kids room)

The couple where the wife was pregnant and they needed the King bed

we pulled straws and rotated every night. This was For a ski trip in our 20s and one couple had to sleep on the fold out couch though.

All suggestions in this entire string are great, until this one. Nope. Every night would be like packing to leave. I would be one and done with that crew.

We got a large house and invited another friend. The other friend who didn’t pay claimed the best bedrooms. They gave us the worst rooms without a private bathroom. I was so pissed off. I couldn’t believe people who didn’t pay anything chose the best rooms because they were first to arrive.

And I can’t believe there are people on Earth who don’t have the stones to say, “The Jones owed us money and paid our portion, so the Jones family and my family are the ones who paid. We will be getting one of the bedrooms that has a private bathroom.”
