FL Freak Out -- course ending at 2.5 years?

CTY also offers HS online foreign languages.

Just note that DC wasn't able to continue taking this language due to a discontinuation of the language being offered at that level. Maybe she can self-study and take Latin, which is pretty similar or Spanish. She could also look into community college courses/dual enrollment, summer classes at a state school, or start to take a critical language through a program like NSLI-Y. For what it's worth, I think it'll be okay. Several kids at my DD's school stopped taking Latin and Spanish after 10th grade and still got into schools like Georgetown, Amherst, Smith, Macalester, Case Western, etc.

Hi All,
OP here. Thanks again for all the constructive suggestions. Crisis averted! The principal came through and class will proceed as scheduled. Phew! But we may look into some of the summer study options or some online programs, since there won't be a level 4 option.
