Is fur acceptable?

I wear a vintage coat. If someone is rude enough to question me about it, I say that it's a fake. They smile and are so happy then. Whatever. The minks have already been dead for decades at this point.

You're missing out on a lot of relationships because you choose to wear fur. Maybe you don't care and only want to be friends with people who would accept you wearing it, but I would roll my eyes every time I see you, talk about you behind your back and not make any conversation with you ever.

Your loss, really. I do not want self-righteous and stuck up people among my friends anyway. BTW, your "friends" talk behind your back and ridicule you too - that's the crowd you run with.

I assure you that you're missing out on a lot more opportunity than me. I believe my friends talk about me but I would talk about someone who wore fur every time I saw her.

That's a no to real fur. There is enough pain and suffering in the world without adding to it needlessly.

Not the PP but I would a 1000% be ok with not crossing paths with you. Please stay away. I don't have any fur or wear it but you are just an idiot.

If the animal is processed for meat and fed someone would that make it ok? Or are you one of those clueless vegans who thinks that planting miles and miles of fields to feed you has no impact on animal life and their habitat?

Please reread the statement and focus on the part "without adding to it needlessly". No need to attack groups of people.

NP. Just chiming in to say that you are really stretching if you want to convince people that vegans are the ones who cause animals to suffer. And I'm not even a vegan.

Oh I read it. But it makes no sense. You said it's a blanket no to real fur. But not all animals die needlessly. So why is it no to all fur?

Fur is back in style.

I’ll bet a lot of these anti-fur people don’t think twice about going out and buying a dog from a breeder and contributing to shelter dogs getting killed. They have no right to judge.

Yes - faux fur is...

Well in my case you bet wrong. I'm against breeders. But even so, comparing breeders to factory farming animals in order to kill them for their fur...not the same.

No, it isn't. Fashion is moving in the opposite direction, with more designers dropping fur.

Sorry that you are trying to make your outdated choices happen.

Come on. It’s not all or nothing.

You cannot be serious, right? Do you think anyone cares about your eye-rolling? You can roll them as long as you want, to the point they fall out of the orbits. I only care about being warm in cold weather. The good thing about my friends we don't judge each other and we come from all sorts of backgrounds (different races, different countries, and different religions). I feel sad for you if this is how you form your friendships.
