I have Aetna Open Access Fed plan and pay $25 a month. Prior authorization was required. I'm on Wegovy.

My spouse is a fed and we have BCBS Standard. According to the formulary and their doctor's office, Mounjaro can only be prescribed for diabetes. Those who are in the prediabetic range and with a doctor's approval to avoid diabetes on-set, may be able to get mounjaro.

Several of the semaglutides (Wegovy, Rybelsus, etc) are approved for weight loss on the formulary and can be prescribed for weight loss. Note that from the formulary, BCBS Basic has the same restrictions.

If Amazon Pharmacy takes your insurance, you may be able to get Wegovy from there. Your doctor has to send the prescription directly to Amazon-they don't take transfers on Wegovy. But they 'may' have it in stock, it changes by the minute.

I have BCBS Blue Focus and my copay is $350/month, but I have the coupon from Wegovy.
