I should have added that I would 100% take my chances with Canada over a compounding pharmacy any day of the week. |
If you’re willing to pay $1000 a month why not just get Lipo? |
Where does one get adderall? |
Wow. Obesity has health risks too, including...Type 2 diabetes. You don't know that you need it more than someone who is using it to lose weight but doesn't currently have diabetes. How cruel to gloat like that |
I guess PP isn't concerned about the kids with ADHD who need the Adderall |
You just told us there's no shortage for actual diabetics, remember? So what's the problem? |
Meh. There is enough adderall for all the kids with adhd plus the UMC moms who need to “do it all” |
have a good time driving around the city to try and fill your vanity script lol Reddit is full of clowns like you wanting to lose 12 pounds and desperate to find a pharmacy to give them the shot. |
Please go to your doctor and check first. This is a lifetime drug and stopping can cause even more weight gain. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/remi-bader-shares-ozempic-experience-rcna65527 Try a nutritionist or personal chef for the money you would spend on the meds. |
untrue! for the second time, my son's 3 month dose wasn't able to be filled by Express Scripts as the 5mg is unavailable. |
I have it prescribed via Alpha Health (virtual doctor). I'm not diabetic (was borderline pre-diabetic) and had 20-25 lbs to lose to put me into a normal BMI range. My insurance also covers it (and covers Mounjaro and other weight loss meds) with a $30 monthly co-pay. It really depends on your specific insurance plan as to whether it will be covered or require pre-authorization.
Y'all need to chill with the "diabetics not having access to it" rhetoric - to be clear, Ozempic is NOT insulin. Diabetics do not need it to survive. It is one of many medical tools to be used to aid diabetics in losing weight and lower their a1c and blood sugars. |
Remi's experience did not take into account that she also failed to implement any lifestyle changes in addition to the meds. Of course you will regain the weight after stopping the med IF you don't change your eating habits and activity level. |
Most of the 2,000 people in the trail gained the weight back when they stopped the drugs. We keep hearing that it's not about diet and exercise and for many people lifestyle changes don't work. That means these drugs are for life. OP said she is already eating right and works out and can't lose. |
What insurance do you have and did you have to fill out pre authorization paperwork, demonstrate you had a combination of risk factors? |
+ 1. There is actually an Adderall shortage right now. |
