I am in admissions at a DC independent school. I can tell you that there are many, many children who score in the 90th percentile. That is not all we look for. Quite honestly sometimes children who score in the above average range who work hard do as well or better than some of the children who score in the superior and very superior range. In fact some of the the kids who score in the above superior range are socially at a disadvantage. Be happy if you have an average, socially able child. |
