I watched today. Standard Hallmark-type Christmas movie fluff. Not my favorite, but I’ve seen much worse.

I’m all for a LL comeback. But it’s distracting when a actor who we know is talented can’t act because they can’t move their face. The movie was fine, but I thought she was the weakest part of it. She seemed sad/wooden even in parts when she was supposed to be happy.

I don't think it's just a face thing. When, closer to the beginning of the movie, LL and the child walk over to the child's bed to learn the names of the dolls and stuffed animals? That scene was either terribly directed or poorly acted.
