Most parents would not feel the need to prep if there was just standard tracking in elementary school. When I was a kid, we had tracking starting pretty young, 2nd or 3rd grade so normal bright kids were challenged and not bored. That is all us "prep" parents are trying to avoid. Teaching to the bottom of the class and eschewing tracking has not helped anyone. |
