Then make the penalty worse. If they aren't responsive to it, then it wasn't an effective consequence. |
NP here. You need to read up about how the jet stream is changing due to climate change. The changes in the jet stream absolutely affect rainfall patterns in the west and are part of the ongoing drought. Here are a few videos to begin with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9Da-PrBqMU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLDg0TQtkVs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wCq2Y9CB6Y |
You had best produce some cites for that, Mr./Ms. Anonymous Climate Expert. Unless, of course, you're just talking out of your a--. Because your beliefs are not science. |
Over 2 million people in the U.S are water insecure and live by hauling water from streams, ditches, or grocery stores. It's not just in the West either. |
Laugh all you want but you look foolish. Just because the tide affects the river level that certainly doesn't mean that without river water the level would be the same. That’s logically preposterous. If the water level was not affected by the amount of river flow then the water level would remain constant no matter what weather or upstream runoff which is obviously not the case based on simple observation. |
NP here. Can you explain that to me, as I have seen maps of the watershed for the Potomac river and thought that was where the fresh water originated in the river. If it was a purely tidal river, wouldn’t it be brackish or salt water if it pulled water from the Chesapeake? |
![]() Like what would happen if the blue watershed never had rain? Would the water level remain same but turn brackish? |
