This is actually not true at all. I know a ton of people using travel agents because they don't want or have time to the work themselves. How do you think all your friends are getting the good stuff at Disney?

Travel agents I like for high end/complex or VIP experiences :

Elisa Brown, MAPPS
Amanda Davis, In the know experiences
Lauren Grubbs, smartflyer (multigenerational trips)
Arbiter Travel Co

Explore their bios on IG.
Look at their recent trips/where they’ve stayed.
You can figure out which one has done a trip similar to what you are interested in?
The best travel advisors have on the ground contacts in the location to which you are traveling, or a phenomenal DMC.
