Do you shower and/or wash your hair after taking a bus?

this kind of post is why the cancer rates are going up. zero tolerance for normal germs and dirt entering our bodies screws up our microbiome and then everything goes haywire

Nothing wrong with germs. Maybe don't lick the handles though?

What is the “type to ride the bus”?

Apparently that would be Op.

I was going to say the same. After hours and hours on planes (using gross toilets) and going through airports, the first thing I want is a shower.

What are you talking about? The air in an airliner is 50/50 mix of fresh air and air passes through a HEPA filter.

I nannied for a mom who wanted me to do that. It was so weird. It was like they considered me dirty because I took a bus to work. I took another job . We do have inside and outside shoes for my house. When we pray we wear new clean clothes (Muslim thing). Do whatever you want op. My 4 year old peed in his pants and we didn’t have an extra set. I had him sit on a magazine. This was when we took the bus a few weeks ago.

My husband takes the Metro daily and the first thing he does when he walks in the door is wash his hands. I do the same after shopping or errands. It’s a habit we picked up during the pandemic and we rarely get sick.

However showering or washing hair seems crazy. If you are rubbing your body and hair all over public surfaces, you have bigger problems than some leftover flu virus. Maybe try wearing a full Burka with an N95 mask underneath.

This is a weird question. What if the bus is rarely or never disinfected and people with diseases who never shower, often spit and cough, and lie down on the streets ride the bus frequently?

No but I would if I sat next to a Maga moron

You put on new clean clothes 3-5 times a day?

Some of you are insane, and quite sheltered!

lol. This reminds me of the time my 2 year old daughter licked the bottom of her shoe as we were waiting for a cab at DCA after 10 hours of plane, train, and car travel. We freaked out, and she looked us dead.in.the eye and did it again. Gross, but no lasting damage!

So yeah, OP, the answer to your question is a resounding no.
