You should shower daily, OP, not just on the days you take the bus. Very weird post. |
I shower at the end of the day, I don’t shower every time I get off public transportation. I take the train to work. Yeah, public spaces can be gross but we’ve got to live our lives. The world is covered in germs. |
I would if I took a bus. I caught ringworm from the back of a movie theater seat once. It was hell |
I used the bus twice a day when I commuted to UMD. I just took my evening shower as usual. Also, I'm a microbiologist, and know a bit about bacteria and viruses. Still the one shower, OP ![]() |
No |
No. This sounds like serious health anxiety. |
No.
Do you have OCD? |
Not OP. I did this for years, but not because of bacteria or viruses. Bed bug phobia.
Now I just avoid public transit. Yes, I have OCD. Any tips to overcome this phobia would be appreciated. |
Psilocybin, seriously. Check out the studies being done. There is a good Michael Pollan book and Netflix series, How to Change your Mind |
I do not. But I am an elementary school teacher and my workplace is probably just as gross as the bus. Kids definitely don’t was their hands appropriately. I take a shower a day after my workout. |
I certainly shower after a long flight. |
Same here, but that's just because I always feel greasy and grimy after flying. Not because I'm afraid of germs. |
Thanks for the rec. PP, are you a med professional? Casual "shroom" user? |
I'm sorry to hear that. How long did it take to get rid of it? |
Yes since Covid, especially after coming home from Dr/ dentist |
