Yes because religion can influence people very easily and he is very into influencing and manipulating people. Religion is a source of power, people will trust you more as religious people shouldn't be doing harm.

I don't trust him. He claims religion is important but nothing about an actual faith.

I didn’t know this about MZ. I wonder what religion he is?

Sounds like he's Jewish, went through a period when he was an atheist but is now more open to faith. Just like he said.

Many Jews are atheists.
