Not only do you not have class and style in fashion, you have none in trolling or witty responses. |
If you had real class you'd have TSA precheck and not have to take your shoes off at the airport, peasants. |
| What fool wears heals to the airport? |
Yes, I’m sure you do. |
In other words, you are a middle schooler, sharing you middle shcool humor on a Mommy board you disdain, yet read obsessively at every sleep over. |
And here you are answering to a middle schooler? Gosh, should have started a thread about not just you not having any style..... |
|
So I should dress in high fashion to be shoved in a cramped seat in a tube and be fed cheese and crackers in a box with coke (or really cheap wine/beer if I want to overpay for it)? Hmmm…no thanks.
I will agree that people should step it up at live performances (theater, etc.) out of respect for the people performing for you. But airports are basically hovels these days. |
Awww, she thinks TSA precheck is always staffed! |
I like you, too. I think it's a fun thread. I tip my hat. (Borsalino) |
My guess is this is because most Americans are driving everywhere and/or have long commutes parts of which involve driving. It's way more easier to deal with fleece and nylon, as opposed to a full length camel hair coat, in the car. Many of our restaurants (and I am not talking about McD and the like) do not even have a place to hang up a nice coat. I actually used to wear nice outerwear because I live in NYC and don't have to drive. But then my company moved and switched to hoteling workspaces, meaning that everyday I have to drag to work everything, including a coffee mug (no disposable cups either, because environment). That necessitates a backpack. And straps from heavy backpacks rubbing on the nice wool coats destroy that nice coats. So, it's tech and nylon for me for my daily commute. |
+1. I dress for the airport assuming I will have to spend a night on the floor. Don't tell me I won't. |
| I have enough money for all of my needs and most of my wants. The beauty of the US and if you work hard enough you can create a better life for your children. We love to travel and I could not care less what you think of our airport attire. |

Go to better airports, peasant |
What fool can’t spell a simple word like heels? |
