I think Ryan Reynolds looks better now that he is older.
Someone thought Leo was “hot” when he was young? Cute in a baby face way, but no-hot is not the word. The only movie I actually liked him in was The Departed-he looked great in that. Otherwise, big old nope from me. Jeremy Renner is a pretty unconventional looking star. That said, he was amazing in the Oscar movie where he is a military bomb squad member. I also really enjoyed the Disney series he just did. |

Cumberbatch is the opposite--I didn't get it at all until the first time I saw him in something, and then when I heard him talk I was like....oh.....NOW I get it. I would listen to that man read the phone book. Yeah, he is odd looking, but he seems like a lovely person (when you hear him in interviews) and is pretty intense onscreen. |

Hideous?? I do not think so. I think he is very cute, much cuter than he gets any credit for. He does have a nasally annoying voice and does not possess the aura of the common celebrity. I’ve seen him in it and he is hideous. The type of person who thinks Pete is hot, cute or whatever is to far gone and have questionable taste. I thought the video was extremely cheesy. I don’t find him funny at all. |

What a mean thread.
Some of the best actors are not conventionally attractive. I find movies and shows populated only by attractive actors odd, because when I step out in the real world, that's not what I see. |

It depends what works for you. When I was dating, the pattern seemed to be brainy skinny brainy tall brainy quirky brainy and even brainier. I guess Benedict Cumberbatch would have worked for me. |
