Meat Loaf dead

So upset. I listen to Meat Loaf every single day!

I loved Meat Loaf, right from his Rocky Horror days.

It's disappointing, though, that he refused to get vaccinated as does Van Morrison, whose music I also love. But I admire both of them a bit less because of their stance on vaccination.

His Rocky Horror performance was probably the best moment in his career. He steals the entire movie.

We went to a concert of his in NJ or Philly, I don’t exactly remember, way back in 1999. After the show he sat down for a long time taking questions from the audience and talking about his experiences and life journey.
RIP.

I saw him at Wolf Trap in 2003. He did an amazing show.

I saw him at Wolf Trap too! It was a great show and I was sitting in the first row in the pit. He fell off the stage and used my chair to climb back on stage. I also saw him at Constitution Hall in the late 1990s — amazing show. RIP.

Not sarcasm.

I wouldn't blame someone who died or got seriously ill from COVID after refusing to get a vaccine any more than I'd blame someone who got seriously injured after driving at high speeds in heavy traffic without a seat belt.

Really? I would...and did. Close friend almost died b/c he just didn't put on his seatbelt...hit head on, not his fault, but almost cost him his life. I berated him.

Well, I said I wouldn't blame one *any more* than the other. Which is accurate. I think they're both assholes for refusing to do something simple that has the potential to substantially reduce harm.

I’m sad about Meatloaf dying, but can I just say it’s the woman that really has an amazing voice in Anything for Love. And I had to Google her name.

That video made me feel things.

Also, Jim Steinman was a hell of a composer. Wrote Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell II, and I couldn't tell you if Meat Loaf recorded any other albums.
