+1 I don’t think she’s funny at all. |
I’m the one that said it was so awful. I grew up outside of NY and the skit initially resonated with me for that reason. The jokes about the son got unfunny really fast. By the time they got to the joke shout the swamp pants I was thinking the skit was written largely by 12 year old boys (and not very funny or nice ones) and I skipped the rest. At its worst, SNL really panders to that pre-teen mean boy humor. A skit about a bridge and tunnel tacky formalwear store and low quality commercial production could have been much funnier. PS I am old enough to remember the Crazy Eddie commercials, which really set the bar for NY area local commercials. They were INSANE on every level. Oh, Crazy Eddie…. |
+1 I can’t deal with her screaming at the camera all the time. I find her really annoying. |
He was hilarious as the Chinese rep on the US/China trade war and trump. but kind of has fallen flat since then. I think he's funnier than he's allowed to be on SNL

This was fantastic IMO. |
Bahaha! Love that! She’s hilarious. “White make rage” for the win. |
Yes, also bits he did as the North Korean leader. He may have rightly complained about being pigeonholed as the Asian character, but he was totally funny in those roles. I think it’s hard for them to wedge his more campy humor into some of the 12-year old boy humor skits. But I think he’s pretty funny when they find a good fit for him. |
Agree |
I actually think she's really funny but her strengths are her impressions. Her Matthew McConaughey is divine! |
Or..and stay with me here...lots of people who aren't y'all think he's funny. |
Bowen Yang is a delight. The real problem is Kyle Mooney. |
try having a pre-teen son named Donovan who's a little awkward. I am praying none of the mean kids at school saw this sketch over the weekend because my Donovan will get teased to no end on Tuesday!! |

The iceberg was very funny. But I'm tired of his one note. |
