He is a versatile actor, takes his craft seriously, puts tremendous effort into each role and it shows.

It will always be Christian Bale's 1994 Laurie for me, too, but I've been in love w/Christian Bale since Empire of the Sun and Newsies. However, I loved TC's bratty, gawky Laurie and felt the 2019 version brought new emotions and dimensions to the relationships in the story. It was the last movie I saw in the theater before the pandemic hit and I was high on edibles at the time, so your TC mileage may vary.

Good comparison. Johnny Depp was quite skinny in his early years and then bulked up in his late 20s and in his 30s.

Chalamet bulked up a bit for Dune, but not much. I'm wondering if he will fill out more as he gets older. My body really didn't fill out until my late 20s. My shoulders also broadened. I had a very similar look to Chalamet until my late 20s.

Harry Styles is very hot now, but he also looked very young for a long time. TC has the same look as HS before HS matured except TC is almost as old as HS, so he's kept the lanky teen-ish look longer.
