How to feed 20 teens affordably—not pizza or homemade?

$4x20 = $80

Add chips and a drink.

You will be a hero

Pretty much agree. Not only is it the easiest option, it will go over the best IMO.

Teen boys will eat more than sandwich though (so get nuggets too, or order more sandwiches)

If you bring potato chips and drinks it will still cost under $300

Even if you did 2/kid is <$300.

I’ve experienced that teen boys may eat 2 chick fil a but not 2 Popeyes.

I’ve done this for years. Kids are kind, they will eat lasagna (again) (Caesar btw/the other salad just sits untouched) or meatballs or tacos but they love chicken sandwiches.

Get the pickles on the side.

Very popular choice. Even my picky kids loved these at a friend’s house.

I’d probably do this but use rotisserie chix to make it super easy. I’d have my dh help me with assembly the night before, probably only about 30 minutes to prepare. Unless you can time it perfectly can be hard for fast food not to get cold.

I buy sandwich trays from Costco and Wegmans or get boxes from Panera.

Taco Bell Party Pack. 12 tacos are around $15. and figure 4 tacos per person. Add in warehouse bags of tortilla chips and salsa.

I woudl do Chick fil a or Popeyes. They will deliver right to wherever you are. Order some plain ones (no pickles or mayo)

Chipotle has group meals, make your own burritos

This may be what I end up doing. I was thinking homemade mac and cheese but this would be easier.

There is always Stouffer's lasagna ... and, no, I am not joking (I've read the other thread). Or your own homemade lasagna. But I would go with lasagna, garden salad, garlic bread and brownies.

+1. Stauffer family size from Costco.

Giant has boneless chicken bites on the catering menu that are really tasty. They also do those really long subs, like 4 ft long. Prices are very reasonable.

Can't believe no one has mentioned PUPUSAS!

3 big pupusas average plus veggies or chips and salsa should be more than enough and well under $200.

I mean and this is assuming all teen males. You could cut this down by a quarter if there are more girls.
