Why bring three HUGE barking and howling dogs to preschool drop off?!

Made me laugh!

Of your kids are terrified of dogs then that’s on you as a parent. Dogs exist in public in our world. Kids and parents can not expect the world to be free of everynpotential inconvenience. It serves your kids far better to train them not to fear dogs rather than rant about the behavior of a stranger.

He parked in the no parking zone right in front of the door to the school. The door where new preschoolers say good-bye to their parents. You don’t see that as an issue?

The title of the post complained about the dogs. That was the point. If the dogs are in the car, who cares?

No, he shouldn't park in a no parking spot. But that has nothing to do with the dogs.

Maybe the wife was supposed to drop off the preschool kid, but her car broke down and he had to take the dogs and the kid.
Maybe he took that illegal spot in front of the school so he could get in and out quickly because he had these dogs.
Maybe he looked calm because that was all he could do while people like you were judging him.
Maybe his dad is in hospice and his marriage is falling apart and he forgot he had to take the dogs to the vet and get his kid to school and his life just sucks right now.

Maybe you could just stop judging for 5 minutes and let this go. But for some reason you have to rehash it. It’s over. Let it go.

It’s fascinating how some people contort themselves and reason to desperately try to explain away objectively bad and selfish behavior. Says a lot about you, PP. Either you are naturally contrarian or oppositional or you yourself are a selfish rule breaker who weighs in out of tangential defensiveness. Ugh.

Good lord. It is neither objectively bad nor selfish to have dogs with you *in your car* when you drop a kid off at preschool.

How do some of you people function in society?

It is sad that so many people go through life assuming the worst of people.

These kids would have been crying and clinging to their parents anyway. He should not have parked in a no parking zone.

I agree with that but can you imagine the manufactured outrage OP would have had if this guy had dared PARK IN THE PARKING LOT and leave his HUGE barking and howling dogs there? Oh my, OP probably wouldn't have even made it home alive to type this post.

You quoted me and you really made me laugh. I don’t understand how people like that function in society. I feel bad for that preschool because I imagine many future emails from OP to them over “issues”.

I'm the PP. Glad I could make you laugh. And I agree, I don't know how people like this make it through the day. How do they survive the grocery store when the person in front of them has 13 items in the 12 items or fewer lane? How do they not just pull over and give up for the day when someone does move as soon as the light turns green? What if someone in front of them at Chipotle dares to pull out a piece of paper and order four items? Life is full of times when other people are being slightly rude. Anyone who gets their panties in a twist at those things all the time must lead a miserable existence.

It's fascinating that THAT is what you get from this post. PP was saying that there are a lot of reasons this guy could have done what he did, and rather than get all upset about it, OP could have just taken a deep breath and moved on with her life instead of racing home to pull up DCUM and type this post. So your response actually says a lot about you, PP. You are clearly the kind of person who sees offense everywhere and feels somehow entitled to a pain-free existence. I pity you, actually.
