| I'd love your thoughts. I have a crossover and a baby boy that (so far) is trending on the bigger side. |

LOVED our pria - we had two. We RF till age 4 and used them till 6.5 forward facing. The padding made it really comfortable. You will never reach the weight limit in them so ignore those but look at height. They fit well in cars and SUV's.
I didn't consider the Filo as they sit up very high which is an issue seeing in/out of the back and getting kids in on the sides through the door. Both are nice seats and its personal preference. I'd look at both and take your child and see which he prefers. |
| I love our prias. |
| Just got the Clek Foonf, which I think sits higher than the Fllo. Fits fine in my Prius, center seat. Can't compare to the others, but I like it. |
| I had this same dilemma, and ended up going with the Pria! I absolutely love it, and so does DD. It is like riding on a cloud. |
|
I looked at both and read tons of reviews. We went with the Clek because I had read a lot of issues with the Pria and the harness strap becoming frayed. People really seem to love the Cleks and they are right around the same price. They haven't arrived yet, but I'll let you know when they do!

We have/had both. We used the Pria for 4 years and switched both kids to Clek Fllo. It is a night and day difference and Fllo is so much better.
We recently put the Pria in a temporary car and both DH and I couldn't believe how much nicer the Fllo has been. |

We have a Clek Fllo for my 10 month old who is also very big. The Fllo sits lower to the ground than the Foonf, which is why we chose the Fllo. It's in the back of our Subaru Outback, and I've never had an issue seeing over it out the back. It's an amazing seat and I love it. Super high quality materials and construction, and very comfortable for all ages. The "infant thingy" is an additional insert which you need to buy if the baby isn't sitting independently yet. We got ours when LO was 4.5 months and just starting to sit. Customer service was amazingly helpful and said we could send pictures and/or a video they could have their technicians review to see if the infant thingy was needed. (Answer - it wasn't, early wobbly sitting was enough because she didn't flop around while strapped into the seat.) You can also rear face until 43 inches/50 pounds, which is practically forever.
TL;DR: Amazing seat, amazing customer service. Highly recommend Clek! |
| I was debating between the cleck and the Nuna Rava and got the Rava. Love it! |
What do you like about it? Is it small/lightweight/easy to clean/easy to buckle/etc? |
| Really liked the padding in the Pria (and my GF loves hers for her 2.5 YO) but it just seemed to lack the height we will need for our tall LO if it's truly going to last her to 4 or 5. Have you looked at Peg Perego? |
| I have CUV and a Pria and I don't love it. My husband has a much cheaper safety first seat in his car and it's so much easier to use. It's easier to get in and out of the car, lighter, easier to get child in and out of and buckled. If I had a do-over, we'd just get two of the safety first seats. |
That sounds strange. My kid used his till 6.5. It goes very high. |
| buy buy baby folks warned me off the latest prias, say they are wobbly and hard to really secure in the car |
| I have two prias. One cloth and one leather. We got it mainly because I wanted a leather seat and we got the cloth so both cars had the same seat. It was super easy to install in our Civic but not so much in our Explorer. We figured it out though. We also went for this seat because it could be the only car seat we would ever need. I knew I was having a big baby so if was sufficient from day one based on his size. I also liked how so many fo the reviews said how comfortable it was because of the padding. We have never had an issue with it. |
