Homestead?

Has anyone stayed here? How was your stay and did you do any of the activities they offer?
TIA

I stayed there a few years ago in the off season - late November.
We did some spa treatments and hiking while we were there. We really enjoyed it - but a little to stuffy for us. The jacket required aspect sets the tone of the resort.
Depending on what you are looking to do, there are some other lovely resort options in the area.

Have fun

Wow jacket required! That's not going to work well us. I had no idea

wait-the only restaurant that asks for a jacket it the main dining room-very fancy. They also have other restaurants on property that you don't need a jacket and they are yummy. I stayed there in the winter and we had a great time. Great Spa, lots of things for kids and babysitting if you want time to yourself. Also.good deal right now, I have gotten some of their promo lit.

I think they've had to change some of their old policies regarding dress to appeal to a broader audience. Used to be jackets were required in the lobby area but not sure that's true anymore. I haven't been for a few years but it's a really fun place to go. And i kind of liked the dress up stuff.

Awesome also there is a deal with American Express if you have a platinum card..good time to upgrade if you don't. Anyway since Homestead is a preffered resort-you get an extra night free plus breakfast every morning and four p.m. check out. You just need to look under the fine hotels and resorts program on the website.

Enjoy!!!

forgot to add that even if you already have the reservation, American Express can take over the reservation for the extra amenities--forgot to also add that you get either a spa treament or lunch and free room upgrade as well.
