white lies anyone?

What are some white lies you've told your S/O to keep them from accidentally buying their Christmas gift? Anyone?

I've got the opposite problem. My husband never shops and never seems to actually want anything

Maybe instead of a material possession you could plan a night out?

i don't know, we already go out, doesn't seem that special. We used to do a joint thing together, like a small trip or a big household item, but then he started buying me gifts again so I feel I have to reciprocate. I've got in mind something inexpensive but personal, that I think he would like but would never think to buy. Hope that does the trick. Sorry, OP, didn't mean to hijack, but my DH is so hard to buy for!

Make him a little coupon book (like kids do) with sexplicit items inside.
