Janney Elementary

Does anyone know where I can get information on Janney (other then the little blurb on the DC website). Do they give tours. What facilities/extra curricular activities do they have, class sizes etc. Also do you just show up on the first day of school with proof of address or is there an application process.

We had always assumed that we would apply to private schools for PK (and still might), but also want to explore our local public elementary. We are not to keen on joining the fray that is the DC private school application process and want a back-up plan if we decide to hold off on private until middle school.
