| I'm already getting holiday gift idea requests from relatives. Any ideas for 11 and 13 year old boys? Yes they are my sons but I never know what to suggest for them! They both love to read, to play outside, to play basketball, football and baseball, and to play on the xbox (although they mainly play sports games which they already own so I don't think there is any game to suggest). I usually get them a piece of clothing like a nice sweatshirt and a couple of other items, and this year I am replacing one gift item with money they can donate to an organization of their choice - they are in support of that. Thank you for suggestions. |

tickets to a sporting event or other event? Kindle? Or gift cards to amazon, iTunes, target, dicks sporting goods, etc?
headphones/earbuds? tabletop games? dartboard (they have magnetic (non-dart) ones. Cornhole type game? Books about magic tricks? |

agree with the above on tickets to a sporting event.
movie gift cards |

Let them answer those questions, they are old enough.
My 11 year old still loves the Guinness Book of World Records, that always makes a nice gift. |
| Ask the kids |
op here - thanks for the ideas - several of them would appeal, i am sure. of course i started by asking the kids but christmas is too far away for them mentally (for me, too) and they have no ideas. i love the idea about tix to a sporting event, but i think i will use that idea for myself to give to them. that would be too expensive a gift from their aunt/uncle and grandparents.
