Open your eyes… if your team is in the top 40 or 50 then it is high caliber lacrosse. We were down in Tampa and saw some good teams playing. Alliance out of California was strong and played a style that would give our Maryland teams a run for the money. Speed matters and constant pressure is the game now. Overall, What we saw out of the 28 clubs was much better play than we have seen at the 9th grade level than ever before. |
In other breaking news. Water is wet. |

What are you referring to? President's Cup did not include 2028s |
Was at debut Presidents Cup. Eagle Stix was there also so they had some good teams. It was also a lot warmer than being up in Philadelphia. |
According to some of the recruiting forums, presidents cup might not be in FL next year, which would be a downgrade for the 28s. |
President's Cup has rotated from Florida to Texas and back. Still same tourney. And much better weather. |
Not Texas, Boyd’s Maryland |
Will be in Florida again. |
More tourneys in the fall should be in warmer weather. The Baltimore area is pretty awful. |
Have any of the 28s been able to stay playing with their high school teams yet? I have heard some have. We don’t start until STJ. |
Yes. Fall Brawl. |
Woodson Fall League, Green Days, Fall Brawl, and STJ Winter League are done by our school and others. |
Wow, that is a lot of participation already. Is that with the JV or Varsity |
It depends on the school. Green Day’s are always open to anyone. Some schools have JV and Varsity teams in the fall league/fall brawl and STJ and some just have varsity |
