How will deportation process be carried out?

Anonymous
Trump was unequivocally said that he wants to remove all non-citizens/migrants. This is, sadly, one of his top campaign promises.

How is this going to happen? Are they just going to go door to door and ask to see papers?

Nah, he's already walked that back. He's going to deport the criminal aliens. Hint: this is identical to Obama's current policy.

Probably going to enforce e-verify; no jobs, no illegals. Or it was just empty posturing to get votes. No idea which.

More hot air to get himself elected.

Illegal aliens are still entitled to due process - which they will receive.

Except in cases of aliens with outstanding final orders of removal (ie - they've already been through the court system) or those subject to expedited removal, any alien encountered by ICE is entitled to a full hearing (1 to 2 years) a full appeal (another few years) and they can then renew the process by filing a petition for review in the circuit courts.

It is a myth that aliens can simply be put on a bus or a plane (unless they request that and have a passport/travel document).

It is a long and fair process for people who's first action upon entering the country is to knowingly break the law.

Nope, won't. Just sit tight in your current address, nothing will happen.

Except it's not enforced.

Yes, aside from some who slipped through cracks for various reasons, criminal aliens are deported first. That's the current policy, and it's what the government is doing.

You didn't actually believe that, did you? He's not getting rid of anyone who could impact his bottom line and that of his wealthy supporters. He'll throw out just enough red meat to appease his supporters (i.e., those convicted of the worst violent crimes will probably be gone).

You think your painters, carwash attendants, small town grocery shop boys, cleaners, busbuys, and farm attendants are going through e-verify? That's cute.
