People whining on facebook

Is anyone else sick of the "martyr" posts that are cluttering up my Facebook feed? The "Today we mourn, tomorrow we fight" posts? The "we will get through this" posts? The burning of trash cans in LA and Oakland?

For the life of me I cannot recall any kind of dramatics like this in 2008. I'm sure there were some, but they seemed to be a small group.

This seems to be the majority of people I know.

When are people going to get a grip? The histrionics seem so silly and self-indulgent.
