Predictions on Trump's Presidency

Anonymous
I was disappointed and shocked but trying to be optimistic and open minded as Hillary said and maybe he won't f'k up the country. Maybe he'll be out after one term with his agendas still on his sleeve.

Looking back at former presidents, when Reagan got elected the world laughed at us for electing a former actor and he turned out to be one of the most popular presidents ever, of course, that was a different era all together. And don't forget Arnold Swarzeneger served two terms as Governor of CA. It sounded like a big joke when he got first elected.

So who knows maybe Trump, with his leadership and savvy, and his administration- could turn out to be decent in the long run. It may sound crazy now and not predicting he will but just hoping he does.

- Fix Obamacare by putting it on the states, bringing in competition.

- Infrastructure. High-speed rail seems alluring & flashy.

- Golfing with democrat leaders and foreign presidents.

- Watching Barron grow into a handsome clone of Donald.

As much as I despise that man, he needs to be the leader of his administration. A giuliani, gingrich led cabinet would mean the end of peace in the world.

He won't though. Too boring.

He's not really conservative. That was the joke right? Hillary was more right-wing than trump.

Don't forget we repubs felt like he was using and hijacking the party.

I want to shout from the rooftops my astute analysis.
*He is way too narcissistic to stand on principle. He has no principle. He will be utterly populist.*

Discuss.

Me again. Let me add that the biggest disappointment you should feel is house and senate both controlled by R. But, remember how terrible congress is. They will fumble around and barely get anything done for fear / and the fact that the party has no legs right now.

Reagan had a true 48 state mandate. Trump didn't even win the popular vote. I think we will be lucky to avoid a Bush style economic collapse or war.

Except that Mitchell MCConnell already stated his infastructure plan was not a priority for Republicans.

One thing for sure, since all three are on their third wife, they must be getting sex often, they don't have to deal with the normal frustrations from a normal marriage. They might be calmer leaders than Hillary and Bill who you know have had no release in 20 years.

Number one is impossible, it will just be a race to the bottom as to which policy offers the least coverage and people will find themselves with the same medical debt problems as in the past as the policies won' t actually cover anything major.

I think people are getting way too worked up about this. He is going to shake it up and that's a good thing.

He's going to surround himself by smart people who have private sector experience which is what our government needs. There are not many things that are better when run by the government so why not bring a little of the private sector efficiency and accountability to the govt. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I do think this is what our country needs - a chance to fix a lot of things that aren't working and not worry about getting elected again, just doing the job right!
