Hardwood floor cleaner

I haveheard that the ones you typically find in the retail stores cause a wax build-up. I can't seem to find info on those that don't - unless I order massive quantities from a supplier. More interested in cleaning than shine. How do you make your floors sparkle?

Does Murphy's Oil soap create a wax build up?

You won't believe it, but I got this tip from the Queen of Clean's website: a dilute solution made from tea.

You brew 2 teabags in 1 cup of hot water, add it to a quart of water and mop. Something about the tannins in the tea cuts through the accumulations on the hardwood floor (footprints, food, spills, etc) and the tannins are also good for your wood. No worry about build up, and cheap to boot.

I've tried almost every brand of wood cleaner and never found anything else that left my floors streak-free and perfectly clean.

Just use water with a little vinegar mixed in.
